William Weger is the founder and creative director of Books & Bards. He is an editor and staff writer for Plot Twists, the company's online literary magazine.

He is a former journalist who wrote for dailies, weeklies, and the Associated Press. He has won more than 100 international awards for communications excellence.

He began his reporting career in 1984, following graduation from the College of Journalism at the University of Maryland. He also earned a Master's degree in Public Communications from American University. He is an award-winning author of two books. He also worked in book stores for nearly two decades.
