April 2021 marks the 25th Anniversary of National Poetry Month, which reminds the public that poets have an integral role to play in our culture and that poetry matters.
National Poetry Month has become the largest literary celebration in the world, according to the American Academy of Poets, which launched the annual celebration in 1996.
