A Farewell to Arms first published in 1929. Written by Ernest Hemingway, the classic novel and best seller is set against a World War I backdrop. It's a love story between an American soldier, Frederic Henry, and an English nurse, Catherine Barkley.

This striking design is based on an original first edition dust jacket by Cleonike Damianakes Wilkins, an illustrator whose pen name was Cleon.
